Bethel is a place where all are invited in to discover who God is and what God's purpose is for our lives.

We think church should be one of the most engaging and exciting places on the planet—an inclusive and affirming place where people of any and all backgrounds can experience a God who is real and relevant in their lives today.

Most of all, we want you to feel welcomed and loved.

What we believe

1. Bethel accepts the gift of salvation through Grace in the life, death and resurrection of Jesus Christ and we strive in our imperfection to be examples of His love to all peoples. “A new commandment I give to you, that you love one another, even as I have loved you, that you also love one another.” John 13:34

2. Bethel celebrates the diversity of the human race and embraces Jesus’ radical social justice mission, which includes:

  • Standing in solidarity with the poor, the unhoused, the immigrant and all victims of prejudice, bigotry, violence and persecution.  “Learn to do good; seek justice, correct oppression; bring justice to the fatherless, and plead the widow's cause.” - Isaiah 1:17
  • Acknowledging and affirming the divinity of our LGBTQIA+ brothers and sisters and non-binary persons (becoming a Reconciling in Christ congregation).  "There is neither Jew nor Greek, slave nor free, male nor female, for you are all one in Christ Jesus.” - Galatians 3:28
  • Shedding the scales of our own bias to love ourselves and our neighbors on this planet as Jesus did by practicing and growing our anti-racist discipleship and decolonizing our faith and Christianity.  “For he himself is our peace, who has made us both one and has broken down in his flesh the dividing wall of hostility.” Ephesians 2:14

3.  Bethel is passionate about transforming the world by healing our own wounds while caring for one another. “He has sent me to heal the brokenhearted, to proclaim liberty to the captives and the opening of the prison to those who are bound.” Isaiah 61:1

When we are together, and when we go out into the community, the divine spirit dwells within us.

a House of Prayer

God inspires us through Word and Worship. Jesus gathers us at a table where all are fed.

God is faithful to all generations. We see all ages, especially children, as visible, valued members of our community. God blesses our growth as a church.

We love music. Our worship includes a variety of music from hymns to the most recent contemporary music lead by an amazing band of professional musicians, powerful prayer and strong preaching.
