We believe communion is Jesus' meal and he invites everyone. It doesn't matter if it is your first or five hundredth time, if you were here last week or if it's been years; if you hunger and thirst for Jesus in your life, you are welcome at the table.
We commune all ages and trust parents to make the choice when their children begin to receive. From time to time we offer a first communion class but that is not required before taking communion. For those that don't commune we still invite them to the table to receive a blessing.
We believe through mystery Jesus shows up through ordinary things like bread and cup. This is a physical expression of God's grace for us.
During communion bread and gluten free bread is offered. Next, a tray of small wine cups is shared, followed by grape juice for those who do not take alcohol. You can stay near the table for prayer as long as you like, or move toward one of the prayer stations in the worship space.
